"I recently read Levon Helm's book "This wheels on fire" and he had
discussed the fall of 1976 and in particular September 1976 when Richard
Manuel had a boating accident near Austin, Texas. I knew the
Hattiesburg concert had to be near that time and that is how I found
your photos. There were 10 concerts cancelled following the accident
which I suspect put the Hattiesburg concert being near the very last
before the Last Waltz was filmed in November. Thank you for making
your photos available."
