Announced attendance at the Liberty Bowl for the regular season finale was 14,992. I'd say it was closer to 6,000.
The Liberty Bowl parking lot with the old Memphis Coliseum in the background. A lot of great basketball players graced that arena (Larry Kenon, Larry Finch, Keith Lee, William Bedford, et al) when the school was named Memphis State.
