Whoa nelly!, braking the fall, skis horizontal to the fall line.
Not far to go but the lip is an obstacle - chamex.com
The lip of a crevasse can prove a difficult obstacle.
To form a "dead man" belay embed skis into the snow face to face. Then pack snow around the skis to make sure they don't pull out when a load is applied.
A "mariner" pulley system to get enough mechanical advantage to haul someone from a crevasse. The "link" rope could be attached to the belay point rather than with a Prussik to the main rope.
More complex 'Z' pulley, still hard work hauling a body
Note the rucksack positioned to help stop the skis levering out of the snow. Note we've used a Petzl mini-traxion at the belay. This is an autoblocking pulley. Much better than using a karibiner and prussik.
You can keep yer hat on!
Simple pulley with mechanical advantage of 2:1
Gently does it
