Phelps, N.Y. — An Auburn man was treated and released from Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a two-vehicle crash Thursday on Route 96 at about 7:40 p.m., Ontario County deputies said.
Deputies said Christopher F. Nolan, 38, of Auburn, was westbound on Route 96 when a vehicle driven by William R. Naugle, 21, of Wolcott, backed out of a parking lot and in to Nolan’s path, causing a collision.
Nolan complained of chest and hip pain and was taken to Strong Hospital by Mercy Flight.
Naugle, who was not hurt, was ticketed with several traffic violations.
