Not Orlando, yet, but from the swing in our backyard. It's cool to see snow on the Sandias this time of the year.
Lisa likes driving the new Jeep. Still not Orlando, but thinking about it.
Ah, finally Orlando. Lisa waiting for the luggage... on the wrong carousel. (Not her fault, Southwest told us the wrong information.)
The Gaylord Palms Resort.
The view from our room. An empty parking lot and cows grazing in the distance.
Outside by the pools.
We're staying in the Key West wing. Here's the dining boat we'll eat at tonight.
Yar, where's our beer?!
Lisa's triple-layer dinner (appetizer, really), and her yummy Blue Moon beer with an orange wedge floating in it.
Lady on stilts, she makes balloon animals. Another lady with lasso's and plates-on-a-stick stopped by earlier. For some reason they were dressed like gypsies. I didn't know gypsies sailed.
Found in my luggage. TSA didn't find much.
Breakfast.
General session.
These are a lot smaller than the Dialogic cards we currently use.
Lisa relaxing at the pool.
They have live gators at the hotel.
Off to Universal for the Genesys party.
The wait time says 5 minutes, but in reality, it was 5 seconds!
Tim preparing for the Spiderman ride.
Orlando has a lot of women on stilts.
The Incredible Hulk ride. I rode it 6 times. Amazing.
Every kid's dream come true, the park to yourself! This was the "line" to get on Hulk. The attendants were even kind enough to hold your beer while you rode.
The kiddie pool.
Lisa and I waiting for the trolley to take us to the outlet mall. $1.25 ride. We didn't bother to rent a car; no need to, with free shuttles and dirt-cheap buses.
Lisa's convention, the outlet mall.
Dinner at Fish Bones restaurant.
All-you-can-eat jumbo shrimp.
On the way to Islands of Adventure.
Not exactly large crowds!
Wet, courtesy Ripsaw Falls.
Duelling Dragons!
The Poseidon attraction wasn't all it cracked up to be, we weren't impressed.
Finally, a photo Lisa likes.
Ripsaw Falls where we first got wet. With no lines, we were on the ride within a minute.
Crowds finally picked up, but never had to wait more than 20 minutes, and that was just at the Incredible Hulk coaster.
A short wait in the Juraissic Park line, enough to drink a Heineken.
Spider Man hanging out in one of the gift shops. I didn't realize he was a real person until Lisa pointed it out.
Lisa has the matching Thing 2 shirt! It was the end of the day and Lisa wanted a picture of me on the monkey. Why not?
Lisa, waiting patiently for the outlet mall to open. She wanted to be there 2 hours early...
Cocktails before getting onto the airport shuttle.
Our new favorite beer, Kalik. At the airport, waiting for the flight home.
Flying over the Redneck Riveria.
