Not too many people can take the heat and humidity out on deck as we traverse Gatun Lake
The lake is constantly being dredged to keep it clear for ships to pass.
Panama Canal Railroad. The first transcontinenal railway, it has been in use since 1855.
The pilot uses these signs to help keep the ship on course through the center of the lake
