Ben and Bonnie came to visit. We started at Sea World.
A Ruddy Duck and
his family.
A hibiscus.
We liked the lighting for this photo of Josh
and of Bonnie, and liked black and white, too.
Speaking of black and white!!
(I love puffins!)
These King Penguin chicks were bigger than their parents!
A sea Dragon floats
while an anemone sways.
and the manatees munch on lettuce.
Scarlet ibis are so beautiful!
The next day was a big birthday dinner for Ben.
Then, they spent the next day in Gainesville.
We headed for St. Augustine Beach
for Memorial Day..
I found these little guys washed up on the beach.
The fort is done!
We say good-bye to the beach and,,,
head over to the St. Augustine light station.
Next, we walk around the fort,
Castillo de San Marcos.
It was too late in the day to go inside.
(No Spanish ships in the harbor.)
The flag at half-mast for Memorial Day.
At the old gate to the town of St. Augustine.
An old cemetery
Fascinating doors
to an old
Methodist church.
Flagler College used to be a resort hotel.
Thanks for joining us on our mini-vacation!
