Yes, I'm a newegg junkie
What horrors lie beyond the peanuts?
I'm about 200 watts overkill here, but I don't mess around with PSU after the stories I have heard...
Motherboard
CPU. I picked the i7-950 even though the i7-920 is a better value.
6GB RAM
GPU. Started off with just one to see how things go, a second will be ordered soon and I will do the SLI thang.
Antec 1200 (12 bays...) full tower. (The case came in another box!)
Real roomy. One fan up top, two fans in the back and three in the front.
Cable. Millions, and millions of cables. (Actually, the modular PSU eliminates a lot of useless cables... But still there's a lot of em)
Virgin mobo...
My CPU is a neural net processah. The moah contact I have with hewmans, the moah I leahn. Auughhh!!!
I was trying real hard to keep my drool off the CPU pins.
I couldn't see the SATA alignments so I had to take a shot of it with the macro lens.
Pins for the power buttons and such, this made it easier to see what went where.
Its booting up!!!
So, about that Quad SLI...
It was a tight fit especially with the CPU power cable going over the cards. This was mentioned in some review, in the end it turned out ok :)
