Really enjoying the ride through the Kansas countryside.
Kansas pumps oil. This one is good for 4 glons of oil per day -- not a whole lot. Makes you wonder if this is worth it.

Here's how it's done
Judy got us cup cakes for SAG and artistically arranged them much to Bob's delight.

Here's the entry to the first SAG stop. Bob taking the picture menas he got there first, followed by the rest of the gang.
Bob wanted to make sure this clean sheet with ONLY his initials was recorded.
Taking pictures from the bike takes a little practice and then it get easy. Haven't dropped my pink camera yet. Tom looks on.
After the SAG we all took turns pulling a mile each. Here I am in the lead with Tom close behind and then Chuck and Bob.

Once again we cross the Arkansas -- still not much of a river here after getting drained dry by upstream dams.
After we all got into McPherson follwoing our little games, Sean, Chuck, I and Tom all join in for lunch at Braum's -- an excellent Dairy placewhich also serves great sandwiches.
Steveand Jack join us as Bob snaps hte picture including himself in it.
And the Best Western wehre we took up residence for one night.
