Zink's Garage - RO # 17.745 - 2000 Audi A6 Quattro
Diagnostics Results: The Input Shaft/A-Clutch Drum was not replaced with the 3rd Design. The F-Clutch Piston was not replaced. There is not a single (!) new clutch ring in the transmission, and there are no new steels (for the clutches) in it. A bearing broke inside. A seal on the Input Shaft broke/tore up. The fluid is VERY odd - watery, weird color, NOT the original ZF fluid for sure. Mixed with other fluid (possibly the differential fluid leaked into it due to a missing/wrong installed seal. at least 2 Valve Body bolts were found to be incorrect. The Valve Body has not been opened, cleaned, or overhauled. The Torque Converter was not replaced, and a drain bolt had been inserted, making it go out of balance.
