3-26-2011 Greenbrier
This morning we decided to fly to Greenbrier to have lunch. We talked about this for a few years and have never done it. With 10nm visibility, ceiling from 3,000' to 8,000' and light wind along our entire route it is was pleasant trip. Only thing not optimal is the surface temperature dropped to low 30s over the past two days from 70s. One just feel cold! At 3,000' the outside temperature is around 26 degrees. We have plenty of cabin heat to keep us warm for the entire trip.
Only after we came back and listen to NPR and heard a special segment on the news about Greenbrier bunker. What a coincidence!
