Lovely specimen of a Jacaranda tree spoiled by the power-pole and more especially by the power-lines.
This is the same photograph to that preceding. You can observe, by switching back and forward between the images, just how I have altered the image to get rid of unwanted objects. The power-lines through the Jacaranda, though, still remain partially.
Here's a smaller Jacaranda tree, this time without the annoying power lines to spoil its enjoyment.
This particular tree has a rather different habit from most Jacaranda trees, the leaves remain until early summer, then new leaves come out before the flowers.
Here it is in full bloom at the end of the year.
Closer up view.
Similar view, less exposure, power-pole moved.

Look at all the fallen flowers.
Sometimes the mat of dropped flowers is almost a picture itself.
More of this Jacaranda tree.
Here's the general scene.
Same scene, without the motorbike.
Moved to one side to allow removal of power poles.
