"Hugin, its free, open source and cross platform. And it is incredible. Lets you do some pretty awesome stuff with your photos including full 360º x 180º renderings of photos. The most i've joined in a single panorama is 128 photos for a 360º by about 160º photo. Pretty crazy stuff. You just need lots of ram and patience :-)"
