Just before we got up next morning it rained
When we got to Interlaken the weather was not nice
So we cheated and took an Hotel for 3 nights
Leaving us time to tryout the excellent railway system that the Swiss have
Even the locals were caught out by the weather
Allowing us time to travel up to the Bottom of the top of Europe

We went up the Venicular railway in Interlaken and these were the stunning views we found

We now had to get the rally in Valais which was the other side of the mountains
Trouble is all the passes were shut
Our GPS said it was 35 miles to Valais
Bob....I think we should go the other way!
Top of the Simplon Pass
Well they were wrong....We travelled 270 miles to get there but after a few days of little or no riding it was a great 270 miles...we had to travel down to Italy to get across the mountains

A village we visited had a bike show but sadly we missed it but there were a few bikes still hanging about
