Awards Night 2010

RIYC's annual JS Program Awards Night starts off with a relay race, then a picnic, then the presentations. This year the weather was perfect, the food was great, and the kids engaged (at least). A great afternoon by any measure. Thanks to all for creating another great sailing season for the kids. -mjl

Swim Test 2010

The Junior Sailing Program swim test and boat inspection had some great weather this year. The water wasn't that cold either! The kids have to swim between the docks for a period of time and then don a PFD while in the water. The boats are rigged by owners and inspected by instructors. This all helps ensure the safety of the junior sailors. -mjl
