Approaching Marmaris
The bay is surrounded by rocky hills.
Parasailers have to be taken notice of when sailing here.

We are back in a land of vegetable plenty. These are mainly tomatoes and peaches

We took a few days to go east along the coast and get a taste of what next year will offer. Gulets don't usually hang about.
Boats tuck into rocky bays and take lines ashore. A good option for lunch and a swim.
We found a spot to anchor near Ekincik. The rich green vegetation was stunning after the arid islands

This area, Skopea Limani, is full of islands and rocky points
And lots more bays for quiet anchorage. Red posts have been installed ashore for tying lines to. They are also an attempt to limi the number of boat

And these are our neighbours to the other side. This morning will be our last sail of the summer, back to Marmaris.
Near Marmaris is a cave that is a popular stop on boat trips. Boats line up.
Tripper boats stick their bows into this cave for a photo-op.
