Coroner’s ruling for man found on Oak Openings trail is pending
The cause of an Aurora, Ill., man’s death Friday, one day after he was found injured on a bike trail in Oak Openings Preserve Metropark, remains undetermined pending further tests, Dr. Maneesha Pandey, a Lucas County deputy coroner, said yesterday.
Paul Sorenson, 57, an engineer with Owens-Illinois, was found by a passer-by on the Wabash Cannonball Trail with his feet tangled in his bicycle about 8:45 a.m. Thursday. He was taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, where he died.
