January 1st Snow. It never ends!
January 9, the January Flood.
LaPorte Street parking lot. Within a few hours, this was all under water.
The water should not be coming up to the railing.
Yep, that really is Water Street... with the flood in the background.
Looking West on Garro Street from the high side of the flood. I got to it by going around it in the parking lot. Even at this point, the water was rising. This shot ended up on CNN!
The next morning... Water and Garro Streets. The parking lot I was able to tread was under water.
Just a few days later, the flooding had receded and snow had fallen again.
The river at this point was still a little high, but nothing like it was.
February Fog. Michigan and Garro.
Foggy February looking North on Michigan, East on Garro.
Mid-February? More snow. WHAT?!
We got DUMPED on by snow. This is one of the trees by the library and post office.
The railing on the post office ramp. Yeah, the snow really is THAT thick. Check out the bushes!
The big tree outside the Plymouth Public Library. Gorgeous!
A closer look at the tree.
The snow kept falling, no one was on the road... I decided to take advantage and stand in the middle of Garro Street!
All that snow on those little baby branches! Aww...
I'm glad I got the fresh snow, later in the day, it didn't look nearly this cool!
I hoped I'd get the word that we'd closed for the day. Nope. So, since the snow plows hadn't been out in our area yet, I had to shovel myself a parking spot. The only semi-clear road was the tiny road in front of the store. AHH!
There's the road I came in on with Pilgrim Place covered in snow. Insane!
Taken out back of Bath & Body Works by our service road/delivery area.
It's just so pretty back there!!
How could I NOT do a panorama?
Needless to say, it was a slow day at work. The first customers came in around 11am, 12pm.
March 4h and it's still snowing. It never ends.
Snow is insanely peaceful. I prefer it to rain, any day.
Our first sunny day above 50F!!
Ahh, the Rees.
South Michigan Street, standing on the Yellow River Bridge.
This marker is on the bridge at the Yellow River on Garro Street.
Also taken in March- man, such a nice day!
Taken from the sledding hill in Centennial Park. Why? Because I can.
The foot/bike bridge over the Yellow River running through Centennial Park. Awesome!
Another shot of the park.
The walking trail, trees, and sun. Perfect!
