Final project discription:
This "realtime, wind-responsive" surface visualizes the windscape created by the natural climate, the surrounding architecture, and the subtle turbulences of human activities.
Each individual sail can change direction and height according to the wind.
Putting various site conditions into consideration, the overall shape of the "roofscape" is designed to maximize the total visual effect for tourists / commuters.
The "un-sailed" areas are open to people to walk/stand on, while "seeing" the wind they are creating/blocking/interfering.
