I started out with three thin profiles of alu, and soldered them to a triangle. It tooks ome time and a few broken spots, but at the end, the last few joins were very clean.
Another photo of the 2nd good weld. Now for the test..
My test was to take the alu and stick it in the vice and squeeze it until it broke... well it didn't break! Quite amazing.
