The traditional human wheelbarrow.
A picture with a Chinese staff member. The double peace sign never fails.
A picture with a facilitator. These were some of my students last session.
They had to spell facilitator with small objects in a creative way.
And again.
Students had to dress up one man on their team as a girl.
He was very happy about it.
Also pretty excited.
One of my students who was not quite as thrilled.
Students write journal entries every night. One of our questions was “What would you do if you had 6 arms?” Robert took it pretty literally!
One of the items was to take a picture of an animal.
This was one of the only animals on campus, and after being in dozens of pictures, he tried to hide.
At one point he even contemplated suicide! Poor cat!
Finally he found a quiet place to rest.
This dog also was a part of the fun.
Instead of hiding, his tactic was barking.
Another item was to take a picture in a mirror.
Coke anyone?
I was very impressed with this picture. Some of the women were jumping in heals! Maybe this explains why the Chinese are always so good at syncronized diving and gymnastics.
One of my students, Singo, doing a one handed pushup.
Proposal.
Success!
A little more creative proposal.
This looks painful!
Jahen, one of my students completing one task of putting an orange in one's mouth.
Impressive!
Looks like they could start a pawn shop with all these watches..
One lucky man.
Perhaps my favorite student picture to date!
One of 3 motorcycle taxi rides my sister and I took in Chongqing. This driver kept telling me in Chinese that my sister was beautiful. He's right. :)
Don't worry mom, Lauren was holding on to me with her other hand!
Yellow traffic lines are simply suggestions in China.
Buying fruit on the sreet.
Our trip up the mountain.
Head on.
The ride was up a steep winding road.
Eating hot pot with my sister and some of the SPU gang.
One of my last dinners with the SPU crew at the Pineapple chicken restaurant.
