Nothing like a crab and egg burrito for breakfast
My fave French cafe
Mistral food pics, a LOT of them
Lamb stew for breakfast as well
They were offering free samples of headcheese on crostini
This was a different olive oil company, but I had to get a picture of my fave wine region's olive oil
Accoutrements for the oysters; of course I had mine simply with lemon juice (I'm a little bit of a purist)
I really wanted to try the Dirty Girl Farm green beans.
A teahouse
(l-r) 2006 Chasseur Chardonnay of the Russian River; 2004 Pride Mountain Merlot of Sonoma County, CA; 2006 Domaine Juliette Avril Châteauneuf-du-Pape of the Rhône Valley, France; Cabernet Sauvignon of the Castilla y León region, Spain
Pre-dinner wine at Laszlo's, the neighbo bar beside Foreign Cinema, the resto where we had dinner
Foreign Cinema plays movies on their massive outdoor wall; we ate dinner to "Paris Je T'Aime"
Yes, really got to enjoy oysters this weekend; had the chef choose four different oysters for me; he threw in an extra little treat, a steamed large crawfish
The dish had lemon juice and pepper in it
Tuna crudo
Quail
Sole Nicoise
Dessert and Cheese Menu
After contemplating the cheeses, we opted for coffee/cappuccino with the ganache tart and the fig galette
Cozy bar around the corner; we think it was called Revolution
The best spiced ginger soy latte ever
After this, we headed to a little dancing hole called "The Make-out Lounge" - had a pretty good deejay
