"This photo picks up some of the "ghost runes" that are found under the deeply cut runes on the lower right corner of the upper flat plane of this stone. I am still trying to think of how they could of been done. Instead of a chisel where they burnished or polished in? Is there a technique of doing this with the grain? I am just not familiar enough with rock carving, but I can see I am going to have to look into it."

"Chad, the "H" was for Hjalmar Holand. He put it on there during the time he had it. He did it out of "research" on the stone. That story has been known about since he did it years back. Thanks for the comment about the photo Chad."
