arrived at Changi Airport, Singapore at about 11:30PM, 15 Jun, 2007...it's quite late....last MRT have just left......I planned to take the airport shuttle which is very cheap, however there is something wrong happened. The only choice is to take the expensive taxi.....><
Good morning, Singapore! This is the first morning I arrived at Singapore. I could not wait to explore something new and exciting in this city!! (Little India~where my guesthouse locates)
This morning I'd like to walk around the city~~It's not far from Little India to the centre downtown. 10 minutes walk distance.
This building is SAM~~Singapore Art Museum. Though I didn't buy an entrance ticket.

The most challenging part for travelling on your own is to take photo. Since you don't want locals to know you are tourist so you won't ask assistance from local people, and if you want to make photo of yourself in mirror, you have to wait until no one notice you.....

dorm bed in Inn Crowd, 18SD per night.....they don't take off the plastic cover of mattress, so it's really noisy when people move while sleeping.

simply because I totally couldn't understand what the English tour guild said!!! Singlish? The other three British guys understood.......!! Frustrating ... However i have video tour equipment...good enough.

While citizens of S'pore with apparent differences in races, religions and languages could gather in one land having the same goal of pursuing happiness, prosperity and progress, why Chinese people who all look alike gathering in little Taiwan island fighting about racial difference all day long??? I just couldn't understand.

The staffs in next hotel don't read email daily, so they said it's my fault booking room online without comfirming by phone! ><........that's why I was wandering in Starbucks eating breakfast at that moment.
Well, by the assistance of friend from home, I found this guesthouse nearby. 25 per night. very very expensive for dorm bed. but the location is very convenient.

I decided last night to become one-day local Singaporean....so I got up early, grap a free copy of the straits times pretending reading it while enjoying Mac Bagel.
Columbus found New Continent!!.....I should have known this place earlier--for their abundant collections of books and free wifi.....
well I love library....I dream to be a library staff ...
They have many books of traditional Chinese characters, full set of Murakami Haruki （村上春樹）!

strangely that after I settled in another hostel, 12 hrs later I was back at the same location and took photo here...
Well, I love everything in a mess and let it gather in order again and again ....but it's really waste of time I know.
Well I took this photo secretly 'cos I know it's not moral. But it's funny to find someone who can sleep longer than me .... I stayed there for two days and found he is only awake in the midnight. :P:P

the next day I checked out at 12PM and arrived at Changi Airport at about 2PM ~ waiting for flight to Siem Reap depart at 6AM next morning.
This is to say, I stayed in Airport for 16hrs .... I spent the night in traveler's "favorite airport for sleeping" (see http://www.sleepinginairports.net/) .... Actually I could leave my baggage in hostel and go to airport in the evening but I didn't ~
at that time I didn't know what would happen later !! quite special experience ~
In short, my atm card has problem in S'pore so I could not withdraw money ! That was a big problem 'cos I don't have enough cash .... luckily through 0800 service agent's help I solved it (overseas call, expensive!!!)
And I met a guy from Mainland China who doesn't understand English and seek for my help......it's good to meet Chinese people! We chatted for about 4 hrs or so .... When we had to say goodbye I gave him a gift - my hard disc stick that stored some MP3 songs ......
It was the first time my body felt sick in this trip ... I have to record it .... at that time I just finished vomit out all Burgerking I've take for dinner..... ><
