In his mesmerizing study of femininity and the power of stardom, Marlene Dietrich is played by a puppet operated by her fictional young girl servant apprentice, carer and lover.
Actress performs a hard and double role - of an actress and animator. The woman is all the time accompanied by a puppet – mannequin animated by shoulder movements.
