Sonoma Ashram Workshop

MAYAN COB OVEN

This oven was built with the Latino youth from the Juvenile Hall in Santa Rosa, with the 20 Mayan Glyphs painted around the head, and a cob door/face.

Daily acts Workshop in Petaluma

This was a two day workshop done in Petaluma where we constructed this oven/bench using earth excavated right on site. It has an earthen plaster sealed with linseed oil and beeswax.

Cob Oven on Trailer- the Chariot of Fire

I built this cob oven on a horse trailer, and I bring it to parades, festivals, parties, markets, and just drive it around for fun. It can cook pizzas in 3 minutes, and is well insulated to bake bread 12 hours later.
