#8 Art Hop 9-03-09
K-Jewel Art Gallery presented the First Light Exhibit direct from the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite, along with local musical artists, The Red Rag Andy Band. Five master photographers, Karl Kroeber, Scot Miller, Charles Cramer, Mike Osborne, and Keith S. Walklet offer varied interpretations of the Sierra wilderness. For five years, these five photographers spent a part of their summers in Yosemite's wilderness region in order to bring the wonders of the backcountry to the general public.
In addition, we are pleased to present Downtown Fresno Art Hop musical guest Red Rag Andy Band: Andy Brown (guitar), Terry Barrett (fiddle and mandolin), Barry Schultz (fiddle, guitar, harmonica, and banjo) and Barbara LaRae (String Bass, banjo and guitar). The band came in third out of 26 Bands that competed last September at the old Time Music Festival held in Berkeley
