Founder and President Phil Brown did the very first demo for newly formed Montgomery County Woodturners. Phil's signature piece is what he calls a "flare". These pieces grace the collections of the Smithsonian (see http://americanart.si.edu/education/pdf/looking_standards.pdf), the Wood Turning Center, and prestigious collections such as the Arthur and Jane Mason Collection.
