120707 Burbage South - JonathanShaw
Not wanting to be defeated by the weather a few hardy soles, Rob, Scott, Michael, Rachel & I headed off to Sheffield on Saturday and had to abandon a plan to climbing indoors on a cold, grey, wet, July afternoon in favour of a spot of Bouldering under blue skies basking in sunshine at the Peak's own Font ("hap'n that'll be t' Burbage South Boulders lad"). Like other mountaineering myths, the yeti, big foot etc, only photographic evidence will convince the doubters ... so pictures attached, not a rain cloud in sight!
Just to make the most of the day we dropped in on the final round of the British Bouldering Championship at Graves Park - a sequence of three pics of Leah Crane completing another impossible problem included (and even though she topped out on this one she came third) awesome stuff! All in all a great day out.
