We arrived in Costa Rica at midnight and our next plane left at 5:30 am - so we took a little nap in the airport.

The lady behind the counter told me it was really good - everyone else was getting it - I've got to learn to speak better Spanish.
It was a little chewy - I later learned it was some kind of cow gut/intestines conglomeration. - This, plantains and a coke cost around $2

This is where they got their water - every morning we had full 55 gallon barrels for mixing cement - they brought every bucket of it up from this stream.

Hotel #1 left a little to be desired in the cleanliness department.
