These are not gargoyles but rather a sculpture on the Rogers Centre, a convention center and home of the Toronto Blue Jay baseball team. The sculpture by Michael Snow is called "The Audience" and depicts baseball fans.

Carden Alvar. The black "dots" on the left side of the road in the middle of the picture are baby Virginia Rails. Quite an exciting sighting. You don't usually see rails. They usually are well hidden in the marsh grasses.
