Getting down to the eye level of the children; mixed age/multi-age group. Multi age groups have many benefits, espeically if you find that the older ones like to “be the teacher” and can pair off with a younger child and mentor them in special segments of your class. We have used double-jack earphones in our classes allowing children to pair up and hear only each other.
Using the paper keyboards is a great way to check their “pulse” on new keyboard geography concepts without going to the keyboard. I am using an in-class supplemental song. Girls love the “pink song” as I have copied it on pink paper.
