Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition Exhibit

This album displays my work on a single case exhibit commemorating the centennial anniversary of the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition. The exhibit is on display at the Issaquah Historical Society's Gilman Depot Museum in Issaquah, WA. This album includes initial case layouts done in Google Sketchup7 along with photos of the final product.

Ethiopian Art Exhibit

This album includes SketchUp drawings and photographs of an exhibit of Seattle-based Ethiopian artists. The exhibit was displayed in conjunction with Lucy's Legacy, the Hidden Treasures of Ethiopia at the Pacific Science Center during the fall and winter of 2008. I had initially been told that this exhibit would include only 5 to 10 works of art. When the artists provided over twice that number, expecting all their works to be hung, I was forced to get creative with my groupings resulting in a tight, multi-level hang.

Thesis Exhibit: Science at the 'Max!

These images, created in Google SketchUp, represent a major visual component of my master's thesis project. For my thesis, I created a proposal for an exhibit titled "Science at the 'Max", which was designed to be displayed outside of the Boeing IMAX Theater at the Pacific Science Center. The purpose of the exhibit was to strengthen and diversify the contribution of the Boeing IMAX Theater to the educational mission of the Pacific Science Center. While the exhibit was never fabricated, the proposal document included a script and concept drawings for every interactive and instructional panel.

	"I should note that this exhibit represents one of my earliest SketchUp projects. As such, I had not yet discovered the software's parallel projection feature, which creates much cleaner floor plans and elevations." Geoff N.
	"For this particular exhibit, I found it useful to assign each artist a designated color in SketchUp. I intended to group the works by artist, and the color-coding provided an easy visual reference to determine which works belonged to each. This kept the groupings clear as I shuffled things around."
