Enduimet WMA
My project was to work with leaders of a Wildlife Management Area called Enduimet. Here, eight villages had pledged to conserve the land, but needed AWF's help to make money off of it. I worked on a Business Plan for an Eco-Lodge whose profits will directly benefit the eight communities of Enduimet by allowing them to build up their infrastructure and education system. As many of the inhabitants live on less than $2/day, the money earned and these changes will help to lift them out of poverty.
