Harrison Lim's "A Thousand Years of Women's Tears" Book Reading and Signing

"A Thousand Years of Women's Tears" examines the heartbreak that Chinese women throughout history experience in relationships. It will also give insight into men and women relationships and show that the ups and downs of relationships are universal, going beyond cultural barriers. This book is written in Chinese.

Mentor Group Activities with 3 CUHK exchange students studying in Berkeley

On 9/13/09, the Mentor Group organized an activity for 3 CUHK exchange students studying in UC Berkeley. They started to view the parade at the Solano Stroll in the morning, then a potluck lunch party at Professor Wong Sau Lum's home. Paul Lee led a discussion group on the cultural differences and similarities between HK and US, the reasons behind and their positive perspectives. It ended by a backyard BBQ dinner.

Fruit Picking Tour on Saturday, June 6, 2009

Fruit Picking Tour on Saturday, June 6, 2009 Mentor Group sponsors a Fruit Picking Tour to Brentwood at one of the farms at Brentwood. We totally received 32 summer students from CC, UC and NA attending summer courses at UC Berkeley. 在6月6日本會一共接待了32位來自崇基、聯合及新亞書院前來柏克萊加大就讀暑期班之同學前往Brentwood之果園探摘櫻桃及白玉桃。參加此項活動之同學十分踴躍。該會亦發動了七位校友義務接載各同學。野餐後，各同學被分成七個小組，與各學長們分享初到北加州後之所見所聞及所思。圖為該活動後各同學與學長之大合照。
