Messin' around with daddy. This is the cottage we stayed at during our week in Scotland. It was a great place. It even had a game room and tennis court!
The pony liked it so much in Scotland, she decided to stay. :( We can't find her.
See mommy, I told you he'd look cute in pink.
The next set of pictures are of us in Perth, which is a city about twenty minute drive from our cottage. The cottage is on a farm in the countryside.
These are the coolest condiment packets ever!
Gabe was gettin' his groove on with this sax player. He was pretty good too. Notice how clean the street is? This is how clean all the streets are in Germany. You would never see this in the states.
The old scottish ladies LOVED Gabe.
Hans thought this was a pretty cool looking factory.
Gabe totally passed out in the stroller.
I love this shot. Perth is such a beautiful city.
Grandpa, you've got another pigeon lover on your hands.
These old english sayings were carved into the wall along the riverbank walk. It was really beautiful.
These are some pictures of our drive up the coast one day.
This was a random fishing village we stopped at along the drive up to Stonehaven.
Say cheese.
Check out his boots. Cool huh?
Don't you just love the charm of this place? I can tell you though, you sure wouldn't like the smell of it.
A random castle along our drive. It's right on the coast. Amazing!
This is at a horse reserve by Forth. We decided we had to see some shetland ponies. This place was so cool. They took us around in a jeep and showed us all the horses and ponies they rescued. The kids loved it!
This is ryan the clidesdale. Eva had a special fondness with him.
Do you see the red vines on that place? That's the cottage we stayed in.
One afternoon, Hans took the kids up in the field by the cottage. They have fields you're allowed to roam in. The kids loved chasing the sheep.
Notice how the black headed sheep are in one group, then the other sheep in a different one? Interesting huh?
Wait for me!
Here are some pictures of our drive thru part of the Highlands. We drove to Loch Ness to see Nessie the monster. The weather was really bad that day. The wind was crazy and the rain was coming in almost sideways. It was pretty cool actually.
We stopped at a diner along the way. It was a much needed break from the car.
My lasagna. Don't you think it's weird that they pair up fries with lasagna?
Notice the Haggis? Hans decided to try it.
Here's your haggis. It looks discusting, but it's actually not too bad.
A random castle/mannor we stubbled upon. It's actually a private home that's lived in.
Still part of the highlands. There were tons of lakes along the road.
At last, we arrived at Loch Ness. (Loch is Lake for those not familiar with the Scottish lingo).
I tried to feed Gabe to Nessie, but she spit him back out. Too bad. I guess Gabe doesn't taste very good.
This is the castle on Loch Ness. It's just ruins now.
Don't they look posessed?
