In March 2007 the ground breaking ceremony was held as the site of the new clubhouse.

The first layer of blacktop has been applied..this will be the front entrance for members and and their friends. The landscaping is soon to be completed....depending upon the weather.

The view out back (April 12th). It was pretty muddy following another rainy night.
From the poolside outdoor area...it will eventually be all concrete.
Here you can see that most of the concrete has been poured connecting the club house with the pool area. Members aren't allowed to enter the site at the present, but I noticed by looking through the windows that the carpet has been laid in the bar, and the new hardwood floor in the ballroom has been stained. They will start moving into the new facility on or about April 22.

They were preparing the ballroom for the Kentucky Derby Party on Saturday afternoon.
The very first big function in the new clubhouse was on Kentucky Derby Day, May 3rd. Several hundred people enjoyed the new facilities and the Derby party.
Each of the three ballrooms had a large pull down screen, so everyone had a good view of the race.

.....and now it is time to "doze" the old buildings. Here the awning has been removed out front along with most of the windows. It has been set up to take place Monday 12th May...if all the permits have been issued.
