Governor Mike Beebe's Visit to AHEC, SYRGIS, EL RIO LINDO, KIPP, and THRIVE
Governor Mike Beebe came to town to partake in the 30 year Celebration of Syrgis and the opening of its new R & D Center. He had breakfast with a small group at Delta AHEC as well. He had lunch at El Rio Lindo. He, impromptu, toured KIPP's Elementary and Middle School Campuses. He wrapped up Helena's visit with a tour of the Thrive Center on Cherry Street. Upon leaving Helena, the governor was headed for Marvell and then on to Grady.
