though the rooms at the rincon de valparaiso were nothing fancy, the staff was really friendly...
and it came with a nice common kitchen and dining room...
with a great view
our first stop was at kanibal where you get a foot-long hotdog with sauerkraut, chopped tomatoes and guacomole... yum!
a man and his donkey taking a stroll
an evening at the historic cinzano
with old men play crowd favorites
dressed in suits
a pisco to get the evening going
carlos, a valparaisan who has made cinzano his second home
nick, a british traveler
cone pizza? chileans are sooo crazy!
our favorite book store where there is a huge selection of english books
who's ready for christmas?
still colorful, but not nearly as nice with a fog covering the city most of the time
the crazy weekend feria where people sell old and new stuff
it was one of the few places throughout chile where there was street food
mmm... meat on a stick
this was very bizarre... still don't know whether it was performance art or some sort of protest
a man and his peculiar guitar
at the parque o'higgins, men gather to play cards
and listen to evangelical preachers
our new favorite empanada joint
where they are hand made with love
lazy cicerones...

too busy napping...
sleep well...
