"SImon, Sue's camera played up this year so I got her a Canon G12 with a WP-DC34 U/W housing. This is a great camera, but you have to zoom in (extend the lens) a bit for macro shots, else you get a slight shadow of the lens port in the lower right-hand corner of the photo. I also got her a Sea & Sea YS-01 strobe with and I-DAS arm assembly but it arrived too late to use properly on our trip to Lembeh Straits in October. She still managed to get some great pictures though (see the album).

"Simon, they were either taken by me with a Canon Ixux 960 and its associated Canon underwater housing, or by Sue, my wife, with her Fuji Finepix F200EXR in its Fuji underwater housing. The flash on both these cameras works very well underwater as the canon U/W housing does not have a long lens port and the Fuji U/W housing has a sort of light-guide to get the light right up to the front to be diffused.
