"I really like this. My notes about a student are partly in .doc files, partly notes made as I was talking on the telephone and partly on the new TMA extension system which only allows dates and a broad category of reason to be recorded. It would be good to bring all this together. The one thing that worries me about it is confidentiality though. I can write whatever I need on my own PC but would have to be careful on a system such as this as others might read it. Could some part of the notes be private?"

"I like this a lot. You mention that this would be integrated with other systems (emails etc), which I think would be key. I do use the contact history that already exists on student records, and it is great to see replies from learner support on there when action has been taken, or get more support from them about what action to take. I can see me using this to make notes to myself, like 'student says they won't have internet access between x dates' or 'on holiday and away from PC/ internet between x and y"
