In the lobby getting ready for the bus to Google
Attila with no head and Chris' back, still waiting
More lobby shots
When we got to Google, one of the first demos was this flying car
Then we checked in and we got a bag full of goodies, like this solar cell phone charger
I think it'll work on computers, too. Anything with a battery, it claims.
There are a couple electric cars parked out front. A Tesla, owned by Larry Page (Google founder) and a "street legal" Indy style car with a top speed of 105 MPH
This car is cool. I know a Tesla goes for >100K, but no cost on this one. I am pretty sure it would've cost more since it's hand made
This is a wrightspeed.com car. 100 mph in 6.4 seconds (0.9 xg) and 170 MPG
I picked a table by myself and was soon joined b y some other campers
Thats John, a Welsh poet to my right and Larry Page on his right
When I found out who Larry was, I started snapping pictures discreetly.
This one is cool becasue it has my beer bottle in it.
After dinner outside in the tent, we went into the main room for starting the camp
There was a whole table of free books on the table. I grabbed a few.
Then it was time for introductions and signing up for sessions
I did some sessions in the BarCamp, but this time I am just here to watch and participate
This is proof I was actually invited to be here
And some more people. There are three boards like this. Lots of smart people...
