Thats the newest gizmo on my motorcycle: Sigma bike computer. Displays speeds accurate to 99.99%, Average speed, trip meter/odo meter, stopwatch, trip time & the clock.
The attachment on the spokes is the magnet and the one on the speedo cable is the sensor, both glued and held with tape. The magnet's rotation trigger a pulse in the sensor which are sent to the bike computer, which in turn gives precise calculations on the basis of the wheel parameter fed onto it.
