RM 2009 - What an exhilirating ride it was. I rode for more than 3600 kms. Meeting all the rider buddies from all over India was more than Fantastic!! Spent quality time with some of the best rider buddies from Royal Beasts. Goa stay was full paisa vasool for this ride...

Dun Chakrata Trip

Break free ride
A ride to nowhere! Sumeet called up for a ride and I confirmed in a few hours before it actually started. We didn't have a fixed destination, and took Himachal as the direction. Rode till Rohru in the first day. Road to Chakrata in Uttaranchal seemed attractive on the road map so decided to return via Uttranchal after taking our steeds to river Pabbar in Rohru. Total offroad till DeoBan. Real bad roads from Sahiya for around 15 kms till VikasNagar, after which its mostly smooth tarmac of NH123, NH72 and NH1. 1068 kms, 2 days been through 5 states in all. Route: Delhi - Karnal - Pipli - Ambala - Zeerakpur - Shimla - Theog - Rohru - Tiuni - Deoban - Chakrata - VikasNagar - Paonta Sahib - Nahan - Ambala - Delhi - Gurgaon

Caman the Himachal
Year ending 'impromtu' and 'go-wherever-feel-like-going' ride to Himachal with Biscuit. A near perfect ride, full fun in the chilly winter riding, food, trekking, skiing and what not! Couple of nice sunsets enjoyed and captured with the shutter.

HaleBidu Belur
After a rocking performance from the metal Gods Iron Maiden saturday was utilised to the max! Ugadi being on monday I rode to Halebidu and Belur with Kartik and Vasanth to see the intricate works on the 12th and 13th century temples from the Hoysalas. Awesome roads and beautiful temples.

Shoolagiri Revisited
Shoolagiri is a place nearby and this time Girish called up for a ride and we went to Shoolagiri after lunch at A1 plaza in Hosur. Relaxed time and chillax time spent. Oh yeah, and btw I have been a couple of times in this place last year too :)

Bheemeshwari revisited
A ride done to initiate the ride sequence of the year. I had done Bheemeshwari in July last year with Girish and Jumbo. This time it was with Dada, Shashi, Vaas and his friend Girish. Started late - by 8.30 AM and came back at around 7 PM. Good ride! Around 215 Kms to and fro! Also dada will be travelling out of India for sometime so just to make him do at least one ride till the time he's out :)

Hesarghatta lake trip

Lalbagh
After getting my camera, it started making sense to visit Lalbagh :), Ujjwala also agreed to get up a bit early on a saturday morning to accompany me. Getting up in the morning for the photo shoot was difficult, and had it not been for Ujjwala I would not have got up to do this!! Weekend mornings are too cozy to get up! Here are the results. I hope to follow up this photography at Lalbagh! This time I got familiarised with the place a bit!

Ride to Ranganathittu bird sanctuary followed by Chamundi hills ghat section makes it a great day! Some amazing moments on the highway, on the river cauvery while boating, in the ghats and in Kamat, Cafe coffee day and the eatery at Ranganathittu bird sanctuary are captured here.

Ride to Makalidurga
Another bike trip, this time around the theme remains as always - Ride, reach safely, chill+Relax=> Chillax & ride back safely. One day trip to a small place Makalidurga, some 180 kms in all (To and fro). Unlimited fun at a small railway station with small hillocks around.

BN breakfast ride
In the last BikeNomads meet we had decided to go for a small ride in the near future and on Sept 10 2006 we made it happen - with 9 Bangalore BNs coming to the ride. Rode to A1 restaurant past Hosur then continued to a small dam in Shoolagiri.

Munnar trip
On 11th August I started for my long awaited Bangalore Munnar trip with 11 other friends, 9 on bikes & 3 on a car. We covered Bangalore Salem on 11th Aug and halted in Salem. The next morning we started for Munnar, & reached Munnar in the night at around 8 PM. For two days we relaxed and roamed around Munnar driving thru rains, fog, clouds and enjoyed the beauty of Munnar!
