What's in a Sinow lady's bilum (i.e. purse)? Spoon, matches, pen, color pencil (the missionary gave her for studying the Bible), rope, necklace, small cash in a peanut butter jar, money (wrapped) kept for a relative

That morning, Gail and the ladies went fishing. They brought back a huge ball-cutter. We cooked it and shared with our sinow friends.

Not your typical Thanksgiving Meal: Ball-cutter Wayne caught the day before, pumpkin casserole, green papaya salad, stir-fry pitpit (flaky inside of a bamboo/reed like plant), and rice.
