"It's housed in the oldest railway station yet standing in the world (1830). We will go to art galleries and then go home to Nottingham.
I really enjoy these weekend trips. I want to live in a brick building., I love seeing them everywhere here.
We are now driving through a pass between very tall hills It is a little like Idaho on the way up Snake River pass. We just arrived in Manchester and I just finished a poem for my parents. I think they will like it much."

"Rain soaked windy roads on the way to Mancester from Bradford. the sheep line the roadsides. Within stone fences that each enclose 5 acres or so. The moors were quite an experience yesterday, it was dry with lightening and gusts of wid. We tackled each other in the tufts of heather. So people were riding horses. I really want to ride. It would be excellent here. The hostel was a Victorian Mansion an incredible place to stay. Today, we will go to the Museum of Science and Industry."

"It was filmed partially in her flat. I went to see a play last night called "The Entertainer." It took place in 1956 about a failed music hall performer. It was wonderful. I spent most of my visit walking around. Everything is so interesting here, the buildings, the river, the green spaces, the wildlife, (ducks, squirrels, mice) that I never get bored. I look forward to being back home, but I had fun, and was 2 feet from Spiderman."

"I'm at Stanstead airport north of London, waiting for my plane to Frankfurt. I've had a lovely time in London, though I never went outside of it. I went to all the galleries to refresh my memories of what art is. I did see lots of new things to me too, but mostly its burning the images deeper into my memories. Yesterday was spent partially visiting Kate's flat, which is new since I was here last. I've got an open invitation to stay anytime. She's got a documentary filmed of her."

"with scones at the Tate this morning. That's my favourite gallery anywhere. My hotel is cheap for London. No perks except traditional English breakfast, which I skipped this morning. I do have a TV and a bathroom, though. I should buy another fancy shirt for tomorrow, but I can't decide. I wish I could have come with Chris and family when they traveled here. This is my second home."
