I brought it home by train. My Dahon is on top. I used it to go to the house of the previous owner. A trainticket for a bike costs €6,- Folding bikes can be carried on board free of charge.
Bad condition, but it still looks stalwart
Thin layer of rust on the front fork.
I even sat on the luggage rack for a short time, that doesn't make any sens. But it held the 62kg. Riding with that weight on the rack would be stupid, but 25kg is no problem.
The production date was 2002/01/30
Before the sandblasting.
Red and shiny with 5 layers of Hammerite.

Strong, comfortable and versatile
New components, own ideas and a lot of sanding and painting turned this Pioneer into a versatile and beautiful 'bent :)
Almost 8 years old, now good as new.
The light system of my Pioneer. I've drilled a small hole in the front of the headlight to keep it from fogging up, that works very well. Hubgenerator is a basic hb-nx60. The taillight housing is from Basta, but anything will work. The headlight gives a nice beam and about 250 lumen.
