Ice is made to be broken!
Martha on the ice
Pete pushing ice around
Minh & Stevie, heading out of Jeep Marsh
Phil on the bay. It was grey & chilly but great paddling with no wind.
Heading for Ruffle Bar
Let's go find seals
Paused at Ruffle Bar, looking for seals. We did see one a minute later, although too far for picture taking.
A short break, looking at the seal
Heading on to the Ruffle Bar salt marsh. Stevie paddled backwards for a while in hopes that the seal we'd been watching for a couple of minutes would follow. No such luck this time, but sometimes it works.

Not a breath of wind.

Another inexplicable sudden wildlife die-off?
Naaah, just the annual Frostbite Rolls!
Final shot - the most wonderful birthday cake I've ever seen! So pretty, nobody ever cut into it - it left intact.
