Watch Sunshine and Monte's 4 pups grow. She had two reds, a male and a female. One cream female and one B & T female. The RED FEMALE is available. The other 3 pups are spoken for. I am very pleased with such a healthy and nice looking litter.

Pat-Cee and Monte litter..4 boys
HI, Sept 30th,2011. Pat-Cee delivered four male pups between 3 and 5 AM this morning. They are ALL GO GETTERS. The proud papa is our Shibata Montego at Smilingbear. We call him Monte for short. I named this litter for the Beatles..John & Paul are black and tans. George and Ringo are reds. ~Doreen

Keisha and Monte
Keisha did not have pups as expected. Maybe next time! Keisha is very friendly with everyone. She is good with cats and is an all round nice shiba. Monte is taller than Keisha. Monte is a red and white with Canadian show bloodlines. He is an exhuberant boy with a friendly temperment.He weighs about 28 pounds and is about 16 inches tall.. Keisha has very thick fur, which makes her look larger than she really is. There is two families waiting for a red male from this litter.This will be Keisha's first litter. Keisha weighs about 24 pounds. Her mother and sisters live here at Smilingbear Farm. There could be all colours of pups, we will have to wait and see what we get. Reba Sue's Mika
In early March Mika went to her new home with children .She is fitting in very well and they are a very canine loving family. Mika is doing fantastic going to puppy school and having a blast. The cross of Reba Sue and Zeus makes very nice Black and Tans.

"Wicket" longcoated pup from Mocha and Zeus.
"Mittens" is from Zeus and Mocha. She was born on Dec 23rd, 2010. She is a rare Long Coated Shiba. Her fur will lay down as she gets older. She will have fur like a Golden Retriever. She will not require clipping. Wicket is Mittens new name. She has gone to her new home with two eager young ladies for owners. I will post photos of her as she grows. She is a very unique shiba and has a wonderful home in Edmonton.

Mocha and Zeus' litter born Dec 23rd.
Mo's Zeus is the sire of Mocha's coming litter. She is due Christmas Day! Zeus is an American boy. His sire is Mo's Grand Thunderstorm. His dam is Nikima's Princess Mikia. Mocha is out of Koyotes Misha and Kuronami of Kayobi. (Leo) Mocha has a very bouncy personality. She loves to carry around Jade's stuffed animals. She is very friendly girl and spends her time between the living room and the dog yard. Watch for this litter birth around Christmas. Mocha had her 5 little ones on the 23rd of Dec. There were 3 females and two males. The black and tan female was adopted by Sunshine. One male is a light red. Mocha's sesame females are a very dark rich shade of Red. ~ Doreen

SUNSHINE & LEO...August 22nd litter
Sunshine and Leo are new shiba parents. Aug 22nd Sunny had a litter of three..There were two Cream males and a Black and Tan female. Both the male ands female dog have to have a CREAM gene for the pups to be Creams.I was a bit surprised . The pups are all go getters!!!

Pat-Ce & Rebel's 08 litter at 4 days
Smilingbear Pat-Ce (Mandy) and Tanasea's Rebel Koyote's 2 red boys at 4 days. Taken November 10th, 2008. They are a very dark red at this point. I do not think they will stay so dark . They are very busy pups. The momma shiba keeps them so clean...she loves her puppies.
