Autumn 2009 VacBreak

njTare took a roadtrip, strating in Jueau - ferry ride to Haines - driving into B.C. (Hwy 3) - Tatshenshini-Alesk Provincial Park - to Yukon Plateau & Kluane National Park & Reserve (Hwy 1) - into U.S. (Hwy 2) - to Valdez (Richardson Hwy). Returning to Juneau using the same route. Sept. 4-9,2009. Camping in tent along the way.

Vancouver Vacation - April 2009

Travel from Juneau to SeaTac, rental car around Pacific side of Olympics to Port Angeles, ferry to Vancouver Island, Victoria; drove to Renfrew then to Campbell River & Comox. Ferry to Powell River on mainland, south to Vancouver, Bellingjam & SeaTac. Flight back to Juneau. 1 week roadtrip. Great sunshine & no rain. Mostly camping along the way in small tent. except for Vancouver - 1 nite in rented room.

Kenai Peninsula - 2006

I took jet flight to Anchorage from Juneau in 2006 and then rental car travele south to the Kenai Peninsula. Camped out at Seward, visiting the valley Exit Glacier and the Kenai Fiords Natn'l Park; and staying in Homer for a couple of days.

Yukon Trip - 2007

Autumn 2007 njTare & friend Voice traveled from Juneau to Dawson, camping out in tent and generally having a great trip.Ferry ride from Juneau to Skagway & from Haines to Juneau.
